NYS Thruway exit 18
Rt. 299 West to Rt. 32 N (This is a stoplight at the bottom of a hill with a Mobil station and Neko Sushi on the right.)
Right onto Rt. 32 N to Rt. 213 WEST. Make a left.
Rt. 213 West to Mohonk Road in High Falls.
Left on Mohonk Road.

Exit 19 NYS Thruway (Kingston)
Turn right after booths
Take Second exit: 209 South to Ellenville
Follow this to the second traffic light (Route 213 East - Rosendale)
Turn left onto 213 East. Follow this through one traffic light, over the bridge, into High Falls. You will soon come to an intersection at the EGG’S NEST RESTAURANT AND THE HIGH FALLS CAFE. That is Mohonk Road on the right. Turn right. The Gallery is the second building on your left.
From the time you leave the thruway to the second traffic light is 12 miles or about 20 minutes. Another 5 minutes to the Gallery.

From the south
Exit 18 NYS thruway
Turn left at traffic light after toll (West) on Rt. 299
Take this all the way through town of New Paltz to bridge crossing Walkill River and take FIRST RIGHT AFTER BRIDGE (Springtown Road)
BEAR LEFT AT FORK onto Mountain Rest Road.
Go to STOP sign continue straight up mountain.
Follow this road for approx. 5 miles — up the mountain, past the entrance to Mohonk Mountain House, and down the mountain to sign that marks HIGH FALLS 3 miles (straight). The same road is now called MOHONK ROAD. Stay on this road for 2 miles and begin to look for street signs on your right. First will be School Hill, across from a big red barn. Next will be Steep Hill. Next, you will see the D & H Canal Museum on your right.
