Tango Noir

This beautiful wood sculpture will definitely “move you” with its grace, emotion, and sensuality. Artist, Philipee Guillerm, captured the essence of the Tango in this sculpture with its dancing violin and cello necks embraced in dance.

Handcarved of mahogany and walnut with composite fiber tops hand painted and finished for an authentic feel and placed on a beautiful bamboo base, this piece is deserving that perfect spot by the piano or on the mantle. Measures 16″ high x 14″ wide x 6″ deep.

Born in Paris, France, Philippe Guillerm traveled around the world on his forty-eight foot sailboat, the YaYa, with his wife and two daughters. Finding unique pieces of driftwood, Philippe loves to create music-inspired sculptures that are shimsical and curvaceous. His works invite the viewer to stop and reflect on the music in human nature.
